All the stories that I work on, it's fair to say, have me fully invested, if I don't feel that, I walk away. The Covid Vaccine Injured was no different, it pulled me straight in and immediately I felt the weight of the task. Trusted and allowed in to the group called UKCVFamily, founded by Charlet Crichton, after several journalists had failed to respect them, I knew this was an honour, gifted me by the UKCVFamily. It really was an honour to get to know several of the group, to hear their stories first hand, and to photograph them, with sincerity and concern.

Without doubt, this was the most difficult documentary photo story that I have been involved with. Listening to the facts around the health issues and how these people have struggled is something that will remain with me for ever. There were times when pointing camera seemed futile, but I had to press on, releasing the shutter and hoping that I could do them justice.
